History

  • May 24, 2007 – registration of Labfer, Ltd.
  • 2008 – starting sales of the first elements for laser wavelength conversion.
  • 2009 and 2010 – performing projects in programs “Start” and “Development of nanoindustry of Sverdlovsk region 2008-2010”.
  • April, 2009 – Gold medal of 37th International exhibition of Inventions, new techniques and technologies in Geneva for the method of domain structure formation (together with the Ural State University).
  • June, 2009 – participation in the Laser world of photonics in Munich promoted the company’s entrance to the international market.
  • October, 2009 – patent for the invention “Method of domain structure formation in single crystal wafer of nonlinear optical ferroelectric”, priority from May 21, 2008 (together with Ural State University).
  • February, 2008 – Gold medal in the V Ural venture exhibition-fair “Innovations 2010” (Ekaterinburg)
  • November, 2010 – the interest to the Labfer exhibit in “Rosnanotech-2010” attained resonance in Russian media which contributed to several important contracts with Russian firms – producers of lasers and laser systems.
  • 2011 - Products assortment has been enlarged due to accessories – temperature controllers and crystal mounts for crystals.
  • February, 2011 - patent for the invention ““Method of domain structure formation in single crystal wafer of nonlinear optical ferroelectric”, priority from September 29, 2009.
  • April, 2011 –  Labfer Ltd patent was awarded the Gold medal of the 39th International exhibition of inventions, new techniques and technologies in Geneva for its unique method of formation of periodic domain structure.
  • May 2011 - the company concluded the agreement with the Ministry of industry and science of Sverdlovsk region for research and experimental work performance in the sphere of nanotechnologies.
